About Who Made My Clothes
'Who Made My Clothes?' is a campaign designed by Fashion Revolution to prompt fashion buyers to ask companies about who created their clothes.
Millions of people around the world create our garments, with many of them below the poverty line, suffering from exploitation and potential danger.
By asking the question 'Who made my clothes?' we are demanding a fair, safe and more transparent fashion industry.
Who Made My Clothes?
Although the majority of my wardrobe is now thrifted/organic or upcycled these items were previously produced by bigger fast fashion brands meaning they potentially may not have been produced ethically or sustainably.
I'm joining the 'Who Made My Clothes?' campaign by asking who made the denim jacket and top pictured above. The denim jacket was originally from River Island and the top was originally created by Topshop...so who made these clothes?
Join the Campaign
To join the campaign simply download the 'Who Made My Clothes' poster and take a photo in an outfit that includes the brands you wants to tag. Once you have your image, use the #whomademyclothes hashtag and tag the brands who produced and sold your clothes! Don't forget to tag @fash_rev on Instagram.
