Supporting the slow fashion movement, outfit two...
My main focus has always been based around slow fashion and building a more sustainable wardrobe.
Now I want to share my own sustainable and slow fashion outfits with all of you over on my @alexandra.mount Instagram page! Every few weeks you can expect a new outfit with a breakdown on where I source the items, any upcycling I've done for the fit and the overall cost of each. Outfit Two is now ready to view below!
Outfit Two
This look is all about the neutrals. The soft creams and white with the floaty fabrics make for a simply and elegant, summery outfit!
Sourcing the Outfits
Some of these items were borrowed, others were bought new and few came from second-hand apps! My accessories and jewellery are often bought new for hygiene reasons so you will find them linked below.
Blouse
This blouse is an old one of my mums that she no longer wears! I love the silk look fabric as it both feels and looks amazing on. The off-white colour matches so many other items in my closet so it's fast become of of my favourite pieces. Raid your mother's wardrobes ladies!
Trousers
I'm so glad simple trousers are now a trend as they're incredibly comfortable and light for the summer! These ones from originally from Primark (bought on Vinted) fit me surprisingly well and are a beautiful neutral shade.
Trainers
I've had these trainers for years now but did buy them new. Simple, clean, white sneakers go with so many outfit options that I now consider them an absolute investment!
These are the Court Borough Low 2 style for those of you interested.
I've also seen a few of these on Vinted so it's definitely worth a search if you're looking for the same style sneakers!
Necklaces
Nothing new here, I'm layering up my necklaces again!
