Rainy Day in Oxford @alexandra.mount

Supporting the slow fashion movement, outfit seven...

My main focus has always been based around slow fashion and building a more sustainable wardrobe.

Now I want to share my own sustainable and slow fashion outfits with all of you over on my @alexandra.mount Instagram page! Every few weeks you can expect a new outfit with a breakdown on where I source the items, any upcycling I've done for the fit and the overall cost of each. Outfit seven is now ready to view below!

Outfit Seven

I wanted this look to be super easy and comfy for a day strolling around Oxford. The day turned out to be quite a drizzly and chilly one so I was lucky to have had a few layers and fleece lined trousers!

Sourcing the Outfits

Most of these items were brought from secondhand apps or preloved Instagram sellers while others have been in my wardrobe for years!

Jumper

This jumper is super cute and was a purchase from a local small business Lily and Mabel. It feels incredibly luxe and soft so I'm glad to have it in my collection. Just another tip that if you are shopping new then do try to support small and local businesses!

Trousers

These faux leather trousers were another Vinted find (originally from Zara) and are such a great addition to my wardrobe! They are fleece lined on the inside so incredibly soft and warm which made them perfect for this day out.

Jacket

This jacket is new (to me) and an amazing find from Pine and Treasure over on Instagram. It is super cosy and because it's preloved it's also nice and soft!

Boots

I finally caved and bought some Dr Martins! I found this pair on Vinted for an absolute bargain so could no longer resist. Looking forward to styling them again already!

Total Outfit Cost (what I actually paid without gifts) - £138.28
