Supporting the slow fashion movement, mini fit thirteen...
My main focus has always been based around slow fashion and building a more sustainable wardrobe.
Now I want to share my own sustainable and slow fashion outfits with all of you over on my @alexandra.mount Instagram page! Every few weeks you can expect a new outfit with a breakdown on where I source the items, any upcycling I've done for the fit and the overall cost of each. Mini Fit Thirteen is now ready to view below!
Mini Fit Thirteen
I call this shirt the plant cell shirt and if you google a plant cell diagram you will see what I mean! This outfit would be perfect for the beach day as it's super soft and airy. Swap out the crop top for a bikini or bathing suit and you can throw the shirt over if you need it.
Sourcing the Outfits
A few of these items were found in charity shops (which I altered) some were found on vinted. The shirt and jewellery was bought new.
Shirt
This shirt was a TK Maxx find and I fell in love with it. It's super quirky and psychedelic so adds a pop of colour to any outfit. It also adds some colour to my wardrobe as I'm much more of a neutral person.
Crop Top
I opt for this little crop so much in the summer, really comfy though a little see through if you're not careful!
Shorts
These shorts were not my size but the fabric was so incredibly soft so I knew I had to have them. I grabbed a needle and thread and added some darts to the front and back. They now fit perfectly!
Bag
Another Vinted find! A cute 70's bag in a neutral shade that will match so many outfits.
Necklace
I've really gotten into angel numbers recently and my lucky number has always been 4. There was a trend over on TikTok where you could find out your angel number and mine happened to be 444. I was wearing my 444 necklace at the time so it was meant to be and I now wear this everyday!
