Supporting the slow fashion movement, outfit fifteen...

My main focus has always been based around slow fashion and building a more sustainable wardrobe.

Now I want to share my own sustainable and slow fashion outfits with all of you over on my @alexandra.mount Instagram page! Every few weeks you can expect a new outfit with a breakdown on where I source the items, any upcycling I've done for the fit and the overall cost of each. Outfit Fifteen is now ready to view below!

Outfit Fifteen

A slightly warmer casual outfit for running errands or sifting through the local charity shops! Comfort is always key for me on busy days so joggers/sweatpants are an easy option along with some comfy shoes.

Sourcing the Outfits

Some of these items were found on second-hand sites, including the sneakers that I upcycled! The bag, hat and jewellery was bought new.

Bodysuit

I bought this bodysuit new years ago and its still going strong and over that time has been a part of many outfits. Once it reaches it's last legs I will no doubt look for a more eco conscious option as a replacement but I expect I have years left in this one yet!

Blazer

I used this blazer in the very first outfit I posted! It's a vintage/old Marks and Spencer blazer so that quality is beautiful. I sized up by a couple of sizes so that I could get more of an oversized look and it now works perfectly as a light jacket!

Joggers

I bought these joggers new a few years ago and since then they have lost their soft fleece insides but they still look great so of course I wear them! The relaxed and loose fit is incredibly comfy without looking too sloppy so I highly recommend these if you are looking for some nice quality cosy joggers. There are lots on Vinted so I now have them in black too!

Bag

I have featured this bag quite a lot on my feed already. It has such a timeless design so I'm able to match it with so many different styles. It's still one of the most expensive items I own so I'm glad to get lots of use out of it!

Trainers

These have become some of my go-to trainers now that they're upcycled! The match lots of outfits and are comfortable which is a giant plus.

Cap

My hat collection is growing quite quickly at this point! This one was a TK Maxx find and is really nice quality. It's super sleek and being black and white will match nearly everything. I'm sure it's going to be in rotation frequently.
