Ikea Trip @alexandra.mount

Supporting the slow fashion movement, outfit fourteen...

My main focus has always been based around slow fashion and building a more sustainable wardrobe.

Now I want to share my own sustainable and slow fashion outfits with all of you over on my @alexandra.mount Instagram page! Every few weeks you can expect a new outfit with a breakdown on where I source the items, any upcycling I've done for the fit and the overall cost of each. Outfit Fourteen is now ready to view below!

Outfit Fourteen

Yet another comfy outfit for running errands while still being slightly stylish. I featured this outfit around my T-Post shirt (which is made from organic cotton) it has such a fun print so it always gives people a giggle! I kept the rest of the outfit neutral to let the tee steal the show.

Sourcing the Outfits

My trousers were found on Vinted, my shirt (from an eco friendly company) bag (made from more sustainable materials), boots (2 years old) and jewellery were bought new.

I have a few tees from T-Post now and they are all great quality and have some brilliant prints! Each shirt is also made from organic cotton and is GOTS certified.

You can find out more about T-Post in the linked blog post below:

Trousers

You've seen these already! These cargos were a Vinted find and fit well everywhere except the waist so I just pop a belt on. The beige shade makes them easy to work into most outfits and they are surprisingly comfy.

Boots

These are now pushing 3 years old and I still love them! You may have seen these on the feed already when I wore them around London. The only downside is that they stain quite easy so always need a quick clean before wearing!

Bag

I adore my little town so had to snap up one of the Energy Clothing, Stamford bags. For those that haven't heard of Stamford, it's a beautiful Georgian town nestled in Lincolnshire and it's like something out of a movie with old stone buildings and windy alleys and cobblestoned paths.

Necklaces

A go-to gold stack for my warmer toned outfits. Most of these came from Amazon like a lot of my jewellery!

Total Outfit Cost - £147.01
