Cosy in London @alexandra.mount

Supporting the slow fashion movement, outfit eight...

My main focus has always been based around slow fashion and building a more sustainable wardrobe.

Now I want to share my own sustainable and slow fashion outfits with all of you over on my @alexandra.mount Instagram page! Every few weeks you can expect a new outfit with a breakdown on where I source the items, any upcycling I've done for the fit and the overall cost of each. Outfit eight is now ready to view below!

Outfit Eight

I wanted this look to be super comfy and cosy for a wintery trip to London! The day was packed full of activities so I needed to ensure I was going to stay toasty which is why I opted for this teddy coat. You can also find a gallery from the trip to London below!

Sourcing the Outfits

Most of these items were brought from secondhand apps while others have been in my wardrobe for years!

Jumper

This jumper is a super flattering cut and the materials are so soft! I love the vanilla and grey tones combined together and this style of neck kept me nice and warm throughout the day.

Trousers

These trousers were such a good pick for this trip. The faux suede was lovely and soft but also warm and comfortable making walking around for 12+ hours a breeze!

Coat

This jacket did not fail me in warmth and comfort! I've had it sat in my wardrobe for around 3 years now and hadn't worn it until this trip but I will definitely reach for it again this winter season.

Boots

I wanted some of these boots for a long time and finally bought myself a pair as a treat and I'm so glad I did! They are so comfortable and super chic (in my opinion).

Bag

This bag was another treat a year or two ago and I've already got a lot of use out of it! I always tend to pick neutral colours when I purchase an item from more expensive brand to ensure I can use it as much as possible. This little bag has a few handy compartments and feels such good quality so I hope it will last me many years to come!

Necklace

This necklace is still one of my favourite Vinted finds and features such a pretty lab grown opal gemstone. Opals are my favourite gemstone so you can imagine how excited I was to find this one by such a well known and trusted designer.

Total Outfit Cost (what I actually paid without gifts) - £199.46
