Coffee To Go @alexandra.mount

Supporting the slow fashion movement, outfit twelve...

My main focus has always been based around slow fashion and building a more sustainable wardrobe.

Now I want to share my own sustainable and slow fashion outfits with all of you over on my @alexandra.mount Instagram page! Every few weeks you can expect a new outfit with a breakdown on where I source the items, any upcycling I've done for the fit and the overall cost of each. Outfit Twelve is now ready to view below!

Outfit Twelve

This is a lightweight look perfect for a shopping trip in the sunshine! I really struggle with hayfever so need outfits that are going to be cute but also comfortable (and most importantly not going to irritate me!).

Sourcing the Outfits

Most of these items were bought from secondhand apps while others have been in my wardrobe for years! My accessories were bought new - mainly for hygiene reasons.

Waistcoat

This waistcoat is actually part of a set that I found a few years ago on Vinted! Both this waistcoat and the shorts are perfect to wear together as a set or on their own.

Trousers

These trousers were another Vinted find and fit like a dream (apart from the length as per usual). They are really lightweight and flowy so great for hotter days.

Loafers

Vivaia were incredibly kind to gift me these shoes a few years ago and they are just made for the summer! Super lightweight and comfortable (once you break them in)!

Bag

I've had this mini satchel style bag form Mango in my wardrobe for years. Ideal for those days when I don't want to carry around loads of items - just my cards, phone and lip balm!

Headbands

These headbands come in a pack of three on Amazon, I went for these brown tone shades as they compliment my wardrobe the best. The £8.99 price is for the three!

Total Outfit Cost (what I actually paid without gifts) - £25.97
