Supporting the slow fashion movement, outfit thirteen...

My main focus has always been based around slow fashion and building a more sustainable wardrobe.

Now I want to share my own sustainable and slow fashion outfits with all of you over on my @alexandra.mount Instagram page! Every few weeks you can expect a new outfit with a breakdown on where I source the items, any upcycling I've done for the fit and the overall cost of each. Outfit Thirteen is now ready to view below!

Outfit Thirteen

Another breathable and lightweight look ready for a summers day perusing around my favourite shops. Comfy shoes were a MUST with this outfit so I built the look around my upcycled New Balances.

Sourcing the Outfits

Most of these items were bought from second-hand apps which includes the upcycled trainers, while the bodysuit is old. My accessories were bought new - mainly for hygiene reasons.

Bodysuit

Bodysuits are such a staple in my wardrobe for both summer and winter. My favourites are the soft touch ones from M&S but this one from Missguided although super old still looks great!

Trousers

A Vinted find! I was after some granddad/dad trousers for ages in a neutral colour and these caught my eye instantly. They fit like a dream and are super comfy.

Trainers

I found these trainers on Vinted and they were originally pink and white but I'm not really a pink girl so I decided to upcycle them. They are now more neutral (black and white) so much more my style plus they match everything!

Bag

Always one of my favourites, my Vivienne Westwood bag is my most precious bag and I'm forcing myself out of my comfort zone to wear it on more outings, not just special occasions.

Necklace

This was a conscious choice to match the bag! A cute Vivienne Westwood necklace that I found on Vinted. I'm tempted to keep an eye out for the matching earrings.

Sunglasses

Another go-to for me, these sunglasses from Amazon match so many outfits and do not snag my hair which is the whole reason I bought them originally! It cost £7.99 for two pairs which is a brilliant price.

Total Outfit Cost - £267.78
