Supporting the slow fashion movement, mini fit seventeen...
My main focus has always been based around slow fashion and building a more sustainable wardrobe.
I share my own sustainable and slow fashion outfits with all of you over on my @alexandra.mount Instagram page! Every few weeks you can expect a new outfit with a breakdown on where I source the items, any upcycling I've done for the fit and the overall cost of each. Mini Fit Seventeen is now ready to view below!
Mini Fit Seventeen
This outfit reminds me of what my dad would have worn in the nineties! It’s super comfortable and depending on the shoes can be super casual with sneakers (Sketchers are my favourite) or a little more dressy with some kitten heels.
Sourcing the Outfits
Some of these items were found in charity shops, others were bought from Vinted and a few were kindly gifted.
Shirt
I believe that everyone should have a nice quality linen shirt in their collection. This one was a charity shop find and being from Marks & Spencer originally is beautiful quality!
Jeans
These are the most perfect 80’s/90’s inspired jeans! The light, slightly distressed wash is just perfect to achieve a more vintage look.
Bra
I was kindly gifted this bra years ago and it’s still going strong. It’s from the sustainable brand Do You Green which makes lingerie from pine trees! I will look to do a full review post on Do You Green soon.
Bag
This little bag screams 90’s so it had to make an appearance in this look. It’s super sleek and easy to match with so many outfits making it a wardrobe staple.
Watch
This watch makes yet another appearance! I don’t think I need to explain again how much I love it. Expect to see it many more times!
